AIR QUALITY IN THE NEWS

  • Journalists at Rest of World equipped gig riders across South Asia with Atmotube air quality monitors. The data revealed that the workers were routinely exposed to hazardous levels of pollutants. (More)

  • Air filters will be installed in 200 of London's most polluted schools as part of a pilot scheme. If deemed a success, the filters could be installed in every classroom in London. (More)

The AD3000 is an air purifier designed for large rooms. It is expensive ($520) and bulky, but is it worth the investment? Our performance tests show it is, but not in all situations. (More)

When we tested it, the Air Genius 5 took a whopping 93 minutes to clear pollutants from our home lab, which is a subpar performance for an air purifier that costs over $250. (More)
